The Riemann Hypothesis

The Riemann Hypothesis is one of the seven Millennium problems on the list of the Clay Mathematics Institute of Cambridge, Massachusetts (CMI) and its solution has allocated a $1 million prize.

Starting in 1995 and throughout 2000, I have focused on the Riemann Hypothesis, managing to transform a Complex Analysis problem into a Convex Functional Analysis problem.

It is in my intention to underline the fact that Romanian mathematicians gave credit to world-wide mathematics.

Just lately, in the year of 2002, the Romanian mathematician Preda Mihailescu managed to solve the "Conjecture of Catalan", which is an amazing problem of number theory, 100 years old and which has troubled for over 100 years the minds of thousands of mathematicians.

It was either chance or destiny that made me study on my own in the past 10 years, as a free profession, using my personal library, the inexhaustible material, from an informational and documentary support point of view, taken from the Internet, as well as from the distinguished prestigious university professor Dr. Eugen Campu of the Bucharest Faculty of Mathematics.

He appreciated my courage and my level of mathematical expertise and offered to guide me and to check my results during the presentation of my study concerning 'Riemann's Hypothesis', which lasted in excess of 5 years.

Another source of moral support was my distinguished professor of mathematical analysis, Dr. Viorel Barbu from the Faculty of Mathematics of "Alexandru Ioan-Cuza" University, the rector of this University, as well as President of the Romanian Academy - Iasi subsidiary.

After a tremendous battle with the problem - for over more than half a decade - I have managed to obtain an approximate decisive result.

At this moment, 'Riemann's Hypothesis' is 90% solved, and, as I have said before, the result is almost final and decisive.
